Electric devices for power transmission and distribution lines, such as transformers and switchgears, and insulators are subjected to excessively high voltage caused by thunder-bolt and switching surge voltage, and specified in KS and ESB to be subject to an impulse voltage test.
We have supplied so far a number of impulse voltage generators to electrical manufacturers, technical colleges, universities, and research laboratories. Recent regulations in KOREA enact the impulse voltage test on distribution panels of classes 3KV and 6KV, and related CT and PT.
Our equipment is designed to meet the regulations.
We are also ready to provide equipment that generates waveforms other than the standard wave. Specified to have 1.2§Á duration of wave front and 50§Á duration of wave tail.
Our "Surge Scope" is the equipment developed to observe the aveforms.
